Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund Policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for the CollectorBench software ("Service") provided by CollectorBench LLC.

1. Subscription billing

The Service is billed monthly in advance through Stripe. The billing cycle begins on the date you first subscribe and renews automatically on the same day each month until you cancel.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing billing@collectorbench.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access to the Service until that date.

3. Refunds

Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once paid. We do not pro-rate partial months. There are two exceptions:

• Duplicate or accidental charge: if you were charged twice or charged after canceling, contact us within 30 days and we will refund the duplicate charge.
• Extended outage: if the Service is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to our fault, you may request a pro-rated credit for the affected days. Credits are applied to future invoices.

4. Failed payments

If a payment fails, we will retry the charge and notify you by email. If payment is not received within 14 days, we may suspend the Service. Your data remains available for export for 30 days after suspension.

5. Annual plans

If you sign up for an annual plan, you may cancel within the first 14 days for a full refund. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable, but you keep access for the remainder of the prepaid term.

6. Hardware add-ons (iPad Kiosk)

The iPad Kiosk is an optional hardware add-on, separate from your monthly software subscription.

• No iPad ships during the free trial. Trial users must provide their own iPad or tablet.
• Purchase ($449 one-time): charged after you have signed a service agreement and paid your first month. Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery if the device is unused and in original packaging. After 14 days, sales are final.
• Rental ($25/mo, 12-month minimum): charged with your monthly subscription. The iPad remains property of CollectorBench LLC. If you cancel before completing 12 months of rental payments, the remaining months are billed as an early-termination fee. After the 12-month minimum, you may either continue renting month-to-month or return the device. The iPad must be returned in working condition within 14 days of cancellation. A replacement fee of up to $329 applies if the device is not returned, is damaged beyond normal wear, or is returned with passcode/Apple ID lock active.
• Shipping: standard shipping is included within the continental U.S. Expedited shipping is billed at cost.

7. Custom / Enterprise contracts

If you have signed a separate Order Form or Master Services Agreement, the cancellation and refund terms in that contract control over this page.
